Dog Friendly Accomodation

Here at The Blue Lion, dogs can expect to be greeted with bowls, beds and doggie-treats. We also have dedicated dining areas – such as our real-ale bar – so dogs and owners can be together at mealtimes. We understand that our guests want to share their experiences with all the family – including the four-legged members. We have 11 dog-friendly rooms and there is a £10 charge per night. With miles of walks and trails on our doorstep throughout the Yorkshire Dales – from the riverbanks to rugged fells –  dogs and dog walkers will love exploring our surroundings and the nearby villages. Please let us know if you will be bringing you dog when you book, either by phone, or in the notes section when you book online. Please note if bedding is damaged or requires specialist cleaning due to mess or soiling, a £100 cleaning/replacement charge may apply.
